The Workday Developer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Workday applications and integrations to ensure the optimal functionality of the Workday system. You will work closely with business users, functional teams, and IT to deliver scalable and efficient Workday solutions aligned with the company’s HR, Finance, and Payroll needs.Workday Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations and customizations to meet business requirements.Configuration and Customization: Configure and maintain Workday HCM (Human Capital Management), Financials, and other modules to streamline HR and Finance processes.Workday Integrations: Build and maintain integrations between Workday and other systems (internal or external), such as payroll, time tracking, benefits, and recruiting.Workday Reporting: Create custom Workday reports and dashboards to provide insights for HR, Finance, and other stakeholders.Collaboration: Work closely with business and functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and provide ongoing support.Testing and Debugging: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday configurations, integrations, and data flows.Maintenance and Upgrades: Ensure the Workday system remains updated with the latest releases and patches; plan and execute system upgrades as needed.Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of Workday configurations, integrations, and custom solutions for future reference and audits.Training and Support: Provide end-user training and support for Workday functionalities and troubleshoot issues for users.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of experience as a Workday Developer or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in Workday development and integrationStrong expertise in Workday Studio/Cloud Connectors, Workday Integration, Workday HCM, Workday Financials, and other relevant modules.Proficiency in Workday-specific tools and technologies, including Workday Web Services (WWS), XSLT, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Report Writer.

COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

Knowledge of Workday implementation methodologies and best practices.Strong understanding of data flow management, integration protocols, and security considerations within Workday.Ability to write, test, and debug Workday integrations and custom code.Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex Workday-related issues.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and communicate complex issues clearly.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and end-users.Workday Certified Integration Developer or other relevant Workday certifications.Experience with Workday’s Extend and Prism.Familiarity with other technologies such as SQL, Java, Web Services, or cloud computing platforms.Experience working in a large, multi-national corporation or complex enterprise environments.Familiarity with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies.

Pay range for this role is $95,000-$115,000 annually, depending on experience.
