Workday Engineer II - Talent & Learning (REMOTE)

GEICO's People Technology teams design exceptional employee experiences by driving transformational technology initiatives. We are seeking a skilled Workday Analyst (Engineer II) to join our Talent and Learning Management team. This is a highly collaborative role that works with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of Workday modules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday HCM systems, specifically with the Talent and Learning modules, with the ability to design, configure, and optimize solutions that enhance our People Group processes and enable our Associates to have great experiences.

Responsibilities

• System Configuration and Maintenance: Design and configure Workday solutions to enable People Group (HR) processes, including the development of condition rules, calculated fields, business processes, and advanced reports

• Technical Support: Provide support for Workday, including researching, identifying, and resolving issues, unexpected results, and process flaws  

• Collaboration: Work closely with People Group, Tech, and other organizations to translate business needs into technical solutions within the Workday ecosystem

• Integration Support: Learn and utilize tools such as Workday Studio and Workday Extend to build and maintain integrations with other enterprise systems

• Process Optimization: Automate workflows to reduce manual tasks and provide data-driven insights through reporting and analytics

• Testing and Training: Develop user scenarios, guidelines, and documentation to ensure effective use and testing of Workday solutions

• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Workday releases, assess new features, and recommend adoption strategies to enhance system capabilities

Qualifications

Experience working with Workday HCM systems, preferably in Talent Management and Learning areas

Proficiency in Workday configuration including business processes, condition rules, templates, calculated fields, and reporting

Experience configuring course offerings, enrollments, learning content, user administration and security within Workday LMS

Experience configuring feedback, goals, performance reviews, succession planning, talent reviews etc. within Workday Talent

Experience with Workday EIBs, Studio, Workday Extend is a plus

Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience in Workday

Annual Salary

$70,000.00 - $160,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
