About the Role:

As a Workday Extend Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with global, cross-functional teams, ensuring that customers maximize the value of their Workday HCM investment. This role involves architecting and implementing Workday Extend capabilities across various Workday functional areas, either independently, as a team member, or in a lead capacity. We're seeking a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who is ready to work with practice leadership to help build the UST Global Workday Practice.

Position Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience designing and developing custom apps using Workday Extend. At least 3+ years in the Workday ecosystem in consulting or customer-facing roles. Certifications: Ideally certified in Workday Extend and Integrations (Studio). Skills & Competencies: Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to position yourself as a Workday expert and manage client expectations. Ability to work across multiple projects, including deployment and AMS-type projects. Strong understanding of Workday integrations and related technologies, including: Workday APIs EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) Connectors Document Transformation Workday Studio Workday Cloud Connect Capability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment and collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Consultation & Collaboration: Work with business and technical teams to discuss Extend design, use cases, and ongoing maintenance. Development Leadership: Lead Workday Extend development for assigned projects or AMS (Application Management Services) engagements. Problem Solving: Identify, assess, and resolve complex business problems related to integrating Workday with external applications using Extend. Innovative Solutions: Design and develop solutions to business challenges using Workday Extend technologies. Support: Assist customers with existing Workday Extend applications deployed in production, including incident management and application monitoring. Break/Fix Support: Perform routine break/fix support, regression testing, and assist with inbound/outbound system interfaces. Data Integrity & Analysis: Ensure data and application integrity through thorough analysis, coding, documentation, and problem resolution. Security & Governance: Understand security, data privacy standards, data governance, and development best practices for Extend apps/integration systems. Mentorship: Provide training and support to junior team members.
