Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote (up to 30% travel) Workday Finance Functional Consultant to join their team. Key Tasks: * Workday Finance Functional Consultant will lead the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Workday Financial Management modules, including but not limited to Financial Accounting, Procurement, Spend Management, and Reporting * Collaborate with business users and technical teams to understand business requirements, design functional solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals * Provide subject matter expertise in financial processes, controls, and reporting to ensure the system is configured to meet business needs * Support clients through all phases of the Workday implementation lifecycle, from requirement gathering to go-live and post-go-live support * Work closely with project teams to develop and execute testing strategies, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and system validation * As a Workday Finance Functional Consultant, you will troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, ensuring the system is performing optimally for financial operations * Lead training sessions for end users to ensure they understand system functionality and best practices * Maintain and update knowledge of Workday updates, enhancements, and industry best practices to ensure clients are taking full advantage of new features and capabilities * Provide ongoing support and system optimization post-implementation to ensure long-term success
