Functional Workstream Lead (CA-PR-US)

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will carry out functional data validation, functional testing tasks, and provide support for integration testing ensuring alignment with the design of Workday modules and ABB’s future HR processes. It is about fully unleashing and harvesting the opportunities of moving from today’s dispersed HCM landscape to an operating model that builds on a single Workday instance with best-of-breed add-ons yielding a superior user experience for employees, managers, HR professionals and candidates. This global project role will support the end-to-end data and testing support of Workday for: Payroll module, Absence module, Time Tracking module, and Benefit Shell.The work model for the role is remote to candidates in the US (#LI-Remote). This project role will end mid-2025. A permanent assignment in the post-project support team will be assessed in due course.You will be mainly accountable for:- Performing workstream deliverables according to program timelines and budget- Supporting the execution of testing strategy, test planning, test case scenarios, and successfully navigate test execution to ensure functional design requirements are met.- Provide expertise and support the integration testing within the CAPRUS functional team, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow between Workday and other integrated systems. - Ensure the quality of processes and workflows:\tMeet the business and legal requirements, globally and locally (ensuring adequate involvement of global and local contributors/stakeholders by conducting workshops and engagement activities), adhere to Design principles and program guidelines, fulfill all requirements on security/documents/etc, comply with audit requirements (ICoFR, GDPR).

Qualifications for the role

Undergraduate degree in Business Management, HR or related discipline and minimum 5 years of work experience and knowledge in several fields of HR/Payroll Business Processes, HR IS (Human Capital Management Systems, HCM) and HR Master Data in roles at large technological and industrial companies with complex organizations and multi-cultural managementProven HR/Payroll process management experience by having successfully operated, optimized, automated, or deployed HR/Payroll related business processes with significant aspects of complex IT implementation, organizational transformation and ambitious value creation targetsExperience with Workday, specifically the Payroll and/or Time/Absence modules is a mustProven experience in implementation testing, with a focus on data validation, integration, and security testingStrong understanding of payroll processes and data flows between HR, Benefits, Compensation, Time, Absence, and PayrollKnowledge of CA/PR/US Payroll, Time and Absence Regulations is highly favorableProfessional proficiency in English, MS Office, digital collaboration tools/platformsCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
