Workday HCM/Payroll Architect
Description We are offering an opportunity in the professional services industry. The role is for a Workday HCM/Payroll Architect who will be instrumental in leading and managing various projects, particularly those involving HCM and Payroll business functions. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from designing and implementing Workday HCM and Payroll configurations to conducting gap analysis and implementing best practices to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance. Responsibilities: • Serve as a Workday solution architect and lead for HCM and Payroll projects. • Act as a project manager for complex Workday HCM and payroll implementations. • Lead and manage future state design and process improvement projects focused on HCM and Payroll business functions. • Design and implement Workday HCM and Payroll configurations, including core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Comp, Benefits Administration, Payroll and integrations with other systems. • Implement best practices for Workday HCM and Payroll to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with applicable standards. • Conduct a gap analysis between business needs and Workday capabilities, recommending solutions or enhancements. • Lead and perform Workday application control reviews and risk assessments. • Establish and cultivate business relationships, including with senior executives. • Successfully identify and implement strategies to obtain new work or clientele. • Develop Workday implementation and optimization proposals and lead oral presentations for potential clients. • Train other team members and develop methodologies and tools to facilitate Workday implementations, making them more efficient and consistent. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the Professional Services industry • Demonstrated expertise in Workday HCM and Workday Payroll • Proven experience with Workday Integration • Strong consulting skills with the ability to advise clients on best practices and strategies • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on providing practical Workday solutions • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large scale projects • Proven experience in developing and implementing Workday HCM/Payroll strategies • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions • Continual learner who stays updated with the latest trends and developments in Workday technology.
