Workday Platform Administrator - FINS Support - Remote Opportunity

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Workday Platform Administrator with a solid background in supporting all FINS modules to join our Information Technology team. Qualified candidates should have knowledge of Workday configuration and FINS support of issues escalated from lower tiers. They will have a main responsibility for managing and troubleshooting FINS configurations and policies within the Workday platform. 

This role requires a deep understanding of Workday’s FINS modules, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various partners to ensure the optimization and maintenance of the Workday system is successful. Additionally, this role will be involved in release management and testing processes to ensure FINS improvements are maintained and tested in each update.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will play a key role in optimizing the Workday system focusing on the FINS modulesTroubleshoot and resolve issues providing timely and effective support to Finance and Accounting team and end usersServe as a functional and technical point of contact in support of the Finance/Accounting Pillar leads and subject matter experts to design and implement solutions that enable improved business processes and provide valuable insights to support HR and business strategiesUnderstand Finance and Accounting standard processes and make recommendations on how Workday system configuration and support and improve these departmentsLead the execution of business requirements, business processes and workflows, system configuration and changes and optimizationCollaborate with internal partners to understand and support Finance and Accounting system needs and requirementsParticipate in the review, testing and implementation of enhancements and system releasesConfigure test and deploy Workday business processes and make recommendations for improvements based on requirements and professional business knowledgeSupport requirements for new enhancements including communication with end users, configuration and testingDocument processes, configuration, testing and resultsPerform testing activities to ensure development and configuration work meets user requirements (including functional testing, end-user testing)Conduct regular FINS data audits within Workday to ensure data integrity Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance/Accounting or related field3+ years demonstrated ability supporting Workday FINS configurationSupport experience in a Workday production environmentStrong reporting skills including Composite and Matrix reporting abilitiesStrong knowledge of Accounting processes and requirements, from either working within an Accounting role or supporting from the Workday sideExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze sophisticated issues and develop effective solutionsOrganized, strong systems thinker and planner, able to translate discussion and ideas into deliverablesSolid attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues in an effective mannerSuperb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate optimally with multi-functional teamsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyExperience with Adaptive is preferredWorkday Pro Certifications, preferredExperience with Adaptive Planning, Workforce Management, preferred
