You Are:

The Workday Project Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing new Workday deployments, with specific experience guiding/leading customer teams on their Workday deployment journey. Actual experience leading and managing Workday deployments is essential.

 

The Opportunity:

·       Identify key stakeholders to ensure establishing and maintaining positive business relationships among stakeholders (internal or external)

·       Maintain regular communication with customer / partner / supplier, addressing needs through empathy with their environment.

·       Define activities, responsibilities, critical milestones, resources, skills need, interfaces and budget. Optimize costs and time utilization, minimise waste and deliver projects on time, and budget as per the contract and agreed scope, with a high-quality result.

·       Anticipate all possible risks and manage them by applying the suitable risk management strategy, developing contingency plans.

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What You Need:

·       Demonstrated understanding of how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other.

·       Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.

·       Bachelor's degree in business, HR, computer engineering, computer science, or technical discipline required.

·       Travel onsite (California) will be required up to 20%. Expenses and travel covered.

·       Excellent communication skills to communicate fluently cross-functionally through the enterprise, including escalation and mitigation of issues, risks, and business impacts.

·       Ability manage and develop scope, project plan, schedules, issues, budget and effectively communicate status of projects and requests.

·       Experience using project management tools such as MS Project and Smartsheets

·       Strong 3rd party developer, vendor, and supplier management experience

·       Demonstrated understanding of requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and management practices and the ability to apply them in practice.

·       Understanding Quality Assurance to develop test plans in partnership with Information Technology Services, 3rd party vendors and other internal stakeholders and the ability to develop test cases for new designs that validate the process and the system solution, and ability to execute testing for bug fixes and new capabilities being released.

·       Active Workday PM certification with 3+ years’ experience required in deploying Workday projects as a customer side lead.

·       Knowledge of major HR functions and familiar with end-to-end HR business processes.

·       Project Life Cycle implementation experience with medium to large corporate systems managing complex enterprise projects and leading and directing work across various functional teams and vendor services.

·       Experience in managing project implementations, including, but not limited to:

·       Workday, other ERP technology, business transformation, business intelligence within the retail industry.

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $96,000-$144,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
