You Are:
The Workday Project Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing new Workday deployments, with specific experience guiding/leading customer teams on their Workday deployment journey. Actual experience leading and managing Workday deployments is essential. Key attributes include the ability to effectively communicate and interact with senior business leaders and other project and program sponsors, quickly and comprehensively assess and address issues associated with supported initiatives, and the ability to identify and implement improvements within the overall project delivery process. The selected candidate will be expected to have a strong grasp of the Workday Launch and Your Way methodology, including broad project management, program management and change management skills.
The opportunity:
· Works with project team, sponsors and/or Leadership to negotiate changes such as scope, timeline, deliverables, and integration points.
· This position reports directly to the responsible CIO, with direct functional alignment to the Workday Program and Technical Leaders.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
· Demonstrated understanding of how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other.
· Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
· Bachelor's degree in business, HR, computer engineering, computer science, or technical discipline required.
· Travel onsite (California) will be required up to 20%.

· Experience in managing project implementations, including, but not limited to: Workday, other ERP technology, business transformation, business intelligence within the retail industry.
· Ability manage and develop scope, project plan, schedules, issues, budget and effectively communicate status of projects and requests.
· Experience using project management tools such as MS Project and Smartsheets
· Strong 3rd party developer, vendor, and supplier management experience
· Demonstrated understanding of requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and management practices and the ability to apply them in practice.
· Excellent communication skills to communicate fluently cross-functionally through the enterprise, including escalation and mitigation of issues, risks, and business impacts.
· Project Life Cycle implementation experience with medium to large corporate systems managing complex enterprise projects and leading and directing work across various functional teams and vendor services.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Ontario
Compensation Range: $119,000-$145,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
