Workday Reporting Analyst

If so, Guardian is seeking a resolute motivated individual to join our team as a Workday Compensation Business Analyst as part of the HR Digital Data & Optimization team.
This role is responsible for developing, building, and maintaining Workday HR reports and dashboards. You will collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to provide reporting and recommendations that support business objectives and decision-making.
**You will**
+ Analyze, design, and build new custom reports and audits using Workday reporting functionality (ex: Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, Dashboards).
+ Create and modify reports based on requirements and understand the downstream potential impact of changes.
+ Responsible for understanding the company's Workday data to translate business requirements into user-friendly reports and dashboards.
+ Maintain reporting functionality as part of system implementation and enhancements, periodic releases, and other business or business process changes.
+ Collaborate closely with internal clients and team members to gather and execute reporting requirements. Reviews feedback from stakeholders and implements solutions that work best for the team.
+ Generate and maintain SOPs and ensure consistent application of organizational policies and practices.
+ Train and function as the subject matter expert on workday functionally, reporting, and audits. Lead key projects and provide coaching and mentoring to end users and report writers.
+ Contribute to the development of reporting standards and support data governance.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve any data discrepancies or inaccuracies identified.
+ Offer insights and recommendations to streamline reporting processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance user experience.
+ Research new Workday reporting & analytics features and functionality to determine how best to meet user needs.
+ Execute more complex Workday transactions such as Supervisory Organization edits and organization design using Org Studio
**You have**
+ At least 3 years of experience developing complex Workday reports and dashboards.
+ Experience using business analytical skills including facilitating requirements sessions and documenting activity workflows and business requirements.
+ Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
+ Experience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.
+ Experience collaborating with internal resources and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
**Reporting Relationships**
As Workday Reporting Analyst, you will report directly to the Head of HR Digital, Data and Optimization.
**Location /Travel**
Hybrid role: 3 days in the office, 2 days and can be in Stamford, CT; Bethlehem, PA; or Hudson Yards, NYC.
**Salary Range:**
$80,940.00 - $132,975.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
