Serve as the primary administrator for the Workday, responsible for configuration, maintenance, data loads, integrations and optimization. Manage Workday security configuration, business processes, and security administration. Manages security roles and domains for the BCC and Elected Officials.Responsible for being knowledgeable regarding the Workday roadmap and upcoming product releases, reviewing release notes, assessing new features, understanding the impacts on business processes and basic changes in functionality. Monitor system performance, troubleshoots issues, and resolves problems related to Workday functionality, data integrity, and system integrations. Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides. Monitor and track progress on Workday support tickets and collaborate and support functional leads with escalated issues. Trouble shoot complex issues or problems related to security and business process function regularly.Project Management/Workday Planning:
Participate in strategy planning with manager to implement new Workday modules as needed based on road map. Collaborate as a team member with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into Workday system configurations and workflows. May develop new solutions within existing functionality to address emerging needs. Collaborates other team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within Workday. Lead the configuration and maintenance of core Workday components, including but not limited to organizations, hierarchies, security roles, business processes, reports, and integrations. Consults with all divisions of HR adjusting business processes to meet changing needs; adjust complex integrations.Contribute to the development and maintenance of Workday business processes, custom reports, and analytics to support functional areas. Provide end-user support and training, ensuring employees and managers are equipped to effectively use Workday and its features. Lead system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for Workday updates, enhancements, and integrations. Assist in the design and implementation of new functionality. Recommend, implement, and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the Workday system. Review the work of primary report writer (Business Professional II) as well as the work of others utilizing the reporting tool. Acts as a consultant to all report writers in all units of HR creating complex calculated fields as needed. About YouTo thrive in this role, you will need:
Minimum of 4-year degree and four (4) years of related experienceOR- Master’s degree and two (2) or more years of related experience. Experience may substitute for or related field, or strong equivalent work experience administering Workday including system-level security, business processes and configurationsThorough and highly technical understanding of Workday Administration particularly regarding functional configuration, reporting, security and integrationDiscipline to work with highly confidential information and ability to critically analyze data input/output for accuracy and effectivenessExcellent communication and collaboration skills both oral and writtenAbility to work independently and/or in a collaborative environmentDemonstrated and proven skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detailAbility to organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlinesAbout Everything ElseStarting Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually, based on your experience
