Job Description:
Zurn Elkay is seeking a Workday Technical Application Manager to join the Zurn Elkay Information Technology team. The Workday Technical Application Manager will manage Workday’s technical suite of applications including integrations, report writing and report administration, and User Access.
This role will be responsible for a team of integration analysts/developers, report writers and will serve as the subject matter expert for the technical Workday team. Primary responsibilities include the design, configuration and maintenance of integrations, development of reports and dashboards, integration and orchestration of Workday Connectors and integrations. Partnering with other Workday application leaders, this role will govern and lead the Workday application in a team environment. This role reports directly to the Director of Information Technology Business Systems and will collaborate with key stakeholders throughout Zurn Elkay.
Responsibilities:
Lead architect of the implementation and ongoing management of third-party integrations, reports and dashboards, PRISM, Worksheets and Discover Board, and Extend applications.
Collaborate with Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Timekeeping, Performance Management, recruiting to gather requirements and design solutions.
Proactive management of system stability, performance, and security, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
Manage vendor relationships for third-party application integration and coordinate with external consultants as needed.
Stay current with Workday updates and industry best practices to continuously improve HR and payroll processes
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Workday technical analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Accountable for team performance with adhering to policy regarding management of technical artifacts including technical design documents, testing documentation, and following a defined application Change Control procedure.
Coordinate and ensure proper change control processes are followed.
Shared responsibility with other Workday application leads for the application management of Workday.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer information systems, management information systems or a related field.
Manufacturing or related industry experience
5 Years applications experience
2 years of Workday experience specifically working in Workday applications as a technical lead or similar environment
Demonstrable successful ERP implementation project and optimization experience in HCM, Finance, and Supply Chain.
Development experience and/or understanding of Workday Integration tools desired: Workday Report Writer, Workday EIB, Workday Studio, SOAP and REST Services, XML, JSON, XSLT, OAuth, X-PATH and X-Query, and other integration technologies.
Skilled in either JAVA, Microsoft languages, or Python programming languages
Workday certifications desirable or equivalent experience.
