Works under supervision in the preparation, distribution of meals, in addition supports the sanitation functions in support of the assigned food service area.
Essential Functions
Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services.
Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies and
procedures.
Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including tray delivery, and catering special events.
Assists with sanitation duties, including dishwashing and maintaining work and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Non-Essential Functions
Perform other duties as assigned
Attends and participates in staff meeting, in-service, projects, and committees as assigned
Adheres to and supports policies and procedures of the STRHS
Works scheduled shifts including overtime, when necessary
Accepts all call schedule as directed
Maintains a neat and professional appearance in compliance to the existing dress code.

Actively participates in Foundation Safety Behavior Tools and Tactics such as Briefs, Debriefs, Huddles, Learning Board Activities, Executive Patient Safety Rounds and reporting of unanticipated and unintended patient events regardless of whether there is harm.

Minimum Education
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
