Job Title: Workers Compensation Admin
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Workers Compensation Admin to join our team. You will be responsible for setting up and entering new claims into our claim management system, ensuring accuracy in claim coding and thorough documentation of files. You will perform critical technical tasks including plant investigations and 3-point contacts, interview claimants and other stakeholders, and prepare comprehensive investigation summaries. Additionally, you will assist in managing all elements of claim files to control medical costs, reduce lost time duration, and minimize litigation expenses. You will also participate in case management meetings and collaborate with medical, human resources, and labor teams to facilitate return-to-work plans for workers' compensation and related absences. Supporting other claim representatives with larger or more complex claims and processing medical and related expense payments will also be part of your role.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and enter new claims into the claim management system.Ensure claim coding is correct and files are properly documented.Perform plant investigations and 3-point contacts.Interview claimants, employers, medical professionals, legal counsel, and witnesses.Prepare thorough investigation summaries.Prepare files for outside counsel.Assist in managing all elements of claim files to reduce or maintain medical costs, lost time duration, and litigation expenses.Participate in case management meetings.Collaborate with medical, human resources, and labor teams to facilitate return-to-work plans.Support other claim representatives with larger or more complex claims.Process medical and related expense payments.Essential SkillsBasic knowledge of workers' compensation.Experience in customer service.Administrative clerical skills.Ability to interpret and analyze complex information.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.Organizational and prioritization skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities.Flexibility in work schedule.Ability to maintain professional client relationships.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-3 years of related experience (workers' compensation experience is not mandatory but preferred).Office experience.Administrative experience.Experience in quality claims handling.Experience in loss cost management.Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule, including one work-from-home day per week. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, offering opportunities for advancement within a well-known company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00
