Workers Compensation AdministratorHourly Rate: $32 – $37/hr. Location: Southwest Houston, 77074Schedule: Friday 8 am – 5 pmDuration: 3 months with a possibility of extension We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to assist our Southwest Houston client as a Workers Compensation Administrator to manage and oversees all aspects of workers' compensation claims within the organization, ensuring that injured employees receive appropriate medical care and benefits while maintaining compliance with workers' compensation laws and regulations.  Your Responsibilities:Manages the process of filing and handling workers’ compensation claims, from reporting injuries to facilitating benefits payments.Acts as a liaison between employees, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal departments for claims processing.Ensures compliance with workers' compensation laws and regulations.Coordinates return-to-work programs, helping employees’ transition back to work after an injury.Analyzes injury trends and works with EHS specialists or HR to implement strategies to reduce injury rates.Tracks claim costs and provides regular reports to help manage expenses associated with workplace injuries. What is Required:At least 3 years of experience in worker’s compensation, loss prevention and insurance claims processesStrong communication and customer service skills for liaising with employees and managersExperience with event reporting systems and identifying cases requiring medical supportExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat 2020Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, to be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptionsCritical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and productively, without supervision Benefits and Perks:Weekly pay – including direct deposit!During your employment with The Reserves Network, you can enroll in our benefits program, including medical (3 plans to choose from), dental, disability, critical illness, life, vision, accident, and behavioral health insurance.Additional benefits include 401K, direct deposit, and our referral bonus program! Your Career Partner:  The Reserves Network, a veteran-founded and family-owned company, specializes in connecting exceptional talent with rewarding opportunities.
