Job Description:
A Workflow Coordinator will be providing excellent customer service coordinating the workflow of the department and handling the administrative duties. A Workflow Coordinator must work with other Coordinators and Supervisors to assure smooth transition between shifts. The role will provide suggestions, be pro-active, and lead and motivate staff to ensure first-rate employee/staff relations. This position is located at an Epiq facility.RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize organizational and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and a pleasant and professional demeanor, to provide exceptional customer service to those attorneys and staff using the Word Processing DepartmentManage and prioritize workflow during shift to meet attorney deadlinesPerform all duties of a Document Specialist when applicableCoordinate workflow from and to other shifts using the Shift Status email, written instructions and/or verbal communicationProvide exceptional customer service through various forms of communication including work requests, emails, telephone, and messagesWork with Supervisor and Coordinators to maintain, update, and implement department procedures and instructionsApprise Supervisor of problems or potential problems, including staff performance and/or employee relationsAssist in other Document Processing and Firm projects and functions as neededREQUIREMENTS
Associate’s degree, Secretarial degree, or equivalent experience5+ years’ experience in a legal document production environment and/or legal secretarial experienceFamiliarity with legal terminology and law firm environment requiredAdvanced knowledge of Document Management Systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)Excellent skills in spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and proofreadingAbility to organize and prioritize multiple assignmentsStrong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervisionAbility to excel under pressure and provide quality work productPossess strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork and customer service skillsThe Compensation range for this role is 21.23 to 26.54 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
