Overview The Workforce Data Processing Specialist is an advanced level processor in the areas of Employment Job Changes, Employee Data, Licensure, Accruals, Auditing, Rate Progression Increase processing, and Tuition Reimbursement. The Workforce Data Processing Specialist possesses advanced knowledge including, but not limited to, the processing of new hires, job transfers, terminations, salary changes, FTE changes, shift changes, demographic changes and recognizes the impacts all of these events trigger. The Workforce Data Processing Specialist is responsible for monitoring and maintaining current statuses of employee required credentials including, but not limited to, job required certifications and licensures. The Workforce Data Processing Specialist is a content expert of the Tuition Reimbursement defined benefit and reviews and processes or denies requests for educational, workshop and employer sponsored reimbursement payments. The Workforce Data Processing Specialist is responsible reviewing and approving or denying various other reimbursement processes including, but not limited to, Adoption Assistance and certification costs reimbursements. The Workforce Data Processing Specialist is responsible for understanding the complexities of the various employee accruals including, but not limited to, Paid Time Off, vacation, Night Shift Bonus, sick time, Medical Leave Bank, frozen banks, personal holidays, seniority and raise hours. Responsibilities Job Description Job Expectations: · Auditing of new employee data and set-up for accuracy · Processes current employee employment changes including position numbers, job codes, salary rates, pay plans, appointments and demographic information · Processes departing employee events including voluntary and involuntary as well as severance events · Monitors for current licensure and job-required certification statuses · Coordinates and submits/denies employee requests for Tuition Reimbursement and various other educational reimbursement programs · Coordinates select employee group requests for reimbursement through nursing workshops · Coordinates documentation submission, evaluation and approval of nursing certification achievements and bonus payments · Coordinates and/or maintains expert knowledge of select employee group requests for reimbursement of adoption · Maintains knowledge of accrual plans offered to employees including CME, PTO, PPTO, Vacation, Sick, Medical Leave Bank, Personal Holidays, Raise Hours, Night Shift Bonus, frozen plans and Seniority Hours · Audits accruals when requested and change balances as driven by audit results or processing errors Organization Expectations, as applicable: · Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served o Partners with patient care giver in care/decision making. o Communicates in a respectful manner. o Ensures a safe, secure environment. o Individualizes plan of care to meet patient needs. o Modifies clinical interventions based on population served. o Provides patient education based on as assessment of learning needs of patient/care giver. · Fulfills all organizational requirements o Completes all required learning relevant to the role o Complies with all relevant laws, regulation and policies · Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education · High School Diploma/G.E.D.
