\nJOB SUMMARY
The Workforce Development Project Manager role's primary responsibility is ensuring the success of the complex projects they spearhead; specifically revolving around vendor management and developing programs to support career progression and organizational needs. This position is expected to work with a high degree of autonomy and possess the interpersonal skills and ability to effectively engage senior leaders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
\n\nDefines project scope, timelines and resources required to complete business objective within time frame required. Includes quality control measures and reporting systems and communication plan in project documentation.\nEstablishes project deliverables and timeframes and holds project team accountable for completion, keeping in mind both short term and long term objectives.\nEstablishes clear project charter, team roles, responsibilities and accountabilities to ensure success of project.\nPrepares and presents project scope document and reaches agreement on project parameters, and mechanics. Receives approvals at each phase of project.\nNegotiates with appropriate management for resources required to successfully complete projects. Identifies project activities, skills required and time commitment for project team members\nPresents the business case for the project, number and types of resources required. Explains approach to project and strategy for completion.\nManages the lifecycle of the project, resolving problems, providing feedback to project team members, securing training, tools required.\nInitiates project, assesses risks, determines project costs, and monitors quality for results.\nEstablishes reporting requirements, communication methods for updating all interested parties regarding project progress, cost and successes. Removes hurdles to project completion.\nDetermines appropriate reporting needed to support project milestones and stakeholder requirementsImplements dashboards, reporting tools and updates as required.\nEstablishes risk profiles, quantifies risk data and develops responses. Recommends contingencies as needed with assistance from senior management.\nPerforms other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS\nServant Leader with high core values.\nPossesses mental agility to successfully deliver a variety of different and complex project types.\nKnowledge of project management principles, techniques, monitoring systems and software needed to manage multiple projects.\nExperience in managing multiple projects requiring interdepartmental cooperation.\nSolution oriented and demonstrates flexibility in problem solving, using collaborative techniques to identify project problems and implement solutions.\nAbility to influence others to a particular point of view using business logic, data and experience.\nMust be able to develop and present a professional product to multiple levels of management.\nAbility to communicate assignments and due dates in a clear, professional and concise manner.\nProject Management Certification a plus.

- EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- EXPERIENCE - 7 Years of Experience
