We are currently recruiting to fill the following position: **Job Description** **PRIDE Industries** **Job Description** ** ** **Job: ** Work Force Inclusion Benefit Planner **Job Code:** V10- PR-WrkfInclBenefitPlanner **HR Title Group:** Workforce Inclusion **Salary Grade:** N19 **FLSA Status:** Non-Exempt **Approval Date: ** March 2022 **SUPERVISES:** There are no direct reports with this position. **POSITION SUMMARY:** Under general supervision, the Benefits Planner, Workforce Inclusion provides individual counseling and follow-up services to Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)/Childhood Disability Beneficiary (CDB)/Disabled Widow Benefits (DWB) and Social Security Insurance (SSI) beneficiaries. Employees in this job class support individuals with accessing and use of work incentive programs available to them for a successful transition to work. This job class requires knowledge of the various incentive programs and external agencies available, the ability to communicate effectively with others, and organizing and managing multiple projects. **TYPICAL DUTIES:** 1. *Provide accurate information about work incentive programs to the relevant audience. 2. *Develop accurate and personalized benefit analysis plans demonstrating work incentives and application of work incentive strategies to promote employment opportunities. 3. *Provide ongoing, comprehensive work incentives monitoring and management assistance to Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Social Security Insurance (SSI) beneficiaries. 4. *Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with external agencies (Social Security Administration personnel including PASS Cadres, Claims Representatives, Work Incentive Liaisons, and Area Work Incentive Coordinators). 5. Performs duties and special projects as assigned. * Denotes Essential Job Function **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** •Verification of passing federal background check authorizing to work on the Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) contract, if applicable. Verification may begin immediately upon hire. Failure to pass may result in immediate termination. •Intermediate to advanced computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, database, and presentation software. •Ability to communicate effectively including listening, verbal, written, and presentation software. •Ability to apply critical thinking, data analysis skills, and innovation to identify solutions to problems. •Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise flexibility. •Clear understanding and judgment, protecting Personal Identifying Information (PII). •One or more years working with persons with disabilities, preferred. **EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:** High School Diploma or GED **CERTIFICATES OR LICENSES REQUIRED:** The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements: CommWorkIncentCoordinator Valid Driver's License Work Incentive Pract Cred **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods with or without assistance: •Viewing computer screen/monitor •Keyboarding **WORK ENVIRONMENT:** Work is performed in an office environment with some exposure to background noise.
