SUPERVISES:
There are direct reports with this position.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under minimal supervision, the Manager, Workforce Inclusion oversees services provided and serves as a liaison with governmental agencies, employers, staff, and family members to provide progress updates and required reports for individuals with disabilities. Employees in this job supervise staff, serve as a member of internal and external committees, and ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and licensing standards and requirements. This job class requires knowledge of funding agencies, licensing standards, and the ability to communicate effectively with others, and organizing and managing competing priorities.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. *Ensure leadership and accountability at the site level and compliance with regulatory, safety, and licensing standards and requirements, and is properly prepared for audits
2. *Supervises employees; ensures a competent motivated team through hiring, training, development, counseling, and reviewing the performance of employees
3. *Act as a member of multiple internal and external committees and work directly with funding agencies to ensure services are met and agreement on standards and requirements
4. *Responsible for overseeing and evaluating the department’s progress toward goals, fiscal status, and growth
5. Performs duties and special projects as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•Three or more years of experience in an individual contributor lead position
•Five or more years of experience in relevant industry work
•Demonstrate supervisory skills to hire, provide the required training, supervise, adhere to disciplinary processes effectively, and address employee relations appropriately
•Develop and maintain positive and collaborative community relationships and knowledge of available funding
•Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, database, and presentation software
•Ability to communicate effectively including listening, verbal, and written
•Demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking to identify solutions to problems
•Demonstrate basic mathematical skills including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
•Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise flexibility
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors- Social Sciences or related field
A comparable combination of formal education and work experience will be considered.
CERTIFICATES REQUIRED:
The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:
Valid Driver's License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:
•Viewing computer screen/monitor•Keyboarding•Receiving and making calls
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise. Travel may be required. Employees may be required to work in excess of 8 hours in a day and/or 40 hours per week.
