Kimberly-Clark (KC) Australia’s Millicent Mill is a world class manufacturing facility where we make our leading brands and have done so for 65 years! In our first year of operations, we produced approximately 4,000 tonnes of toilet paper and tissue. Today, we produce approximately 85,000 tonnes per year.

As a Workforce Planner, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective scheduling of our staff to meet operational needs. This crucial position involves maintaining optimal workforce coverage, you will ensure that we have the appropriate personnel in the right positions to effectively manage leave and training requirements. managing administrative tasks related to rostering systems and supporting various teams through meticulous planning and coordination. Your efforts will be key to our success, ensuring smooth operations and a well-coordinated workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute training plans, including coordinating release dates, timeframes, shift moves, and buddy assignments.

Handle coverage requirements for short-term leave requests and compliance training by engaging casual employees.

Maintain and manage records of rostering and crewing using spreadsheets.

Support the management of long-term leave requests with Operations Team Leaders.

Request fixed-term coverage and collaborate with Talent Acquisition to promptly fill roles.

Support management of training requirements and head count planning to keep assets running.

Maintain accurate records of personal carers leave and manage coverage for planned absences.

Track and analyse key data metrics to support the Operations Team.

Perform payroll administrative tasks using ADP (time and attendance system).

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Previous experience in roster coordination, scheduling, or workforce planning.

Strong background in administrative tasks, including record maintenance and spreadsheet management.

Ability to work autonomously with a proactive nature.

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key internal stakeholders.

Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage short- and long-term leave requests and handle multiple tasks and priorities.

Experience in data analytics.

Advanced IT knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
