What You'll Do
We are seeking a working student to support the BCG’s Insurance Practice Area. In this role you will assist the Insurance Practice Area Management and the Insurance Knowledge Team members in a variety of research topics and knowledge management on German and international insurance markets. The role provides the chance to gain initial experience in German and international insurance for one of the globally leading management consultancies.
You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 to max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in your respective city.
You’re good at:
Supporting in daily research and distilling insights on the German or global insurance market, using internal and external data sources Updating and maintaining of BCG databases on the German and global insurance markets Collecting of BCG case vignettes from insurance projects to capture know-howWhat You'll Bring
Ongoing bachelor's or master's studies with high academic achievements – preferably with a focus on insurance or finance topics Strong attention to detail and learning agility Solid analytical skills Passion for and interest in insurance topics Capable to work in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks in parallel Creative, yet structured problem solver Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities Alteryx and Tableau skills appreciated, but not a must Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English Strong interpersonal credibility, reliability, and service mentalityWho You'll Work With
