We are looking for working student teammates who are enthusiastic about acquiring new knowledge and who have the capability to swiftly prototype for our challenging research project that involves GenAI and NLP.

As a working student you will be involved in our exciting project, which aims at developing novel GenAI-based industrial web applications You will actively support our international research team inside & outside Siemens You will be responsible for work packages related to LLM-based solution development, frontend/backend development etc. Writing academic papers and reports will be another area of responsibility challenging both your expertise and language skills

You are currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science or similar relevant fields You have advanced programming skills in Python as well as knowhow on Large Language Model advanced topics (e.g. RAG) You have already gathered experience with Large Language Model Tools such as LangChain, LLM API Calls, etc. You have experience in at least one of these fields: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Analytics and Natural Language Processing You have practical knowledge of Git Version Control System You can demonstrate general software development skills (e.g. clean code concept) Ideally you have experience with Semantic Web Technologies such as RDF, SPARQL, ProtégéExperience with image processing or computer vision algorithms is a plus Know-how in frontend/backend web-based application development will be considered advantageous And last, but not least: you have excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English
