What You'll Do
We are seeking a motivated candidate to support the Knowledge and Consulting Teams within the Knowledge Team of the Industrial Goods Practice Area at BCG. In this role, you will assist analysts and experts in developing high-quality solutions for clients. You will support both German and international projects by helping create materials and digital offerings, and gain hands-on experience with problem-solving methodologies used in BCG to help clients enhance their performance and strengthen their market position.
The position offers an excellent opportunity to learn about economics and financial modeling within industry-specific contexts, and to see how models are implemented into client-oriented solutions at one of the world’s leading management consultancies.
You will have the opportunity to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week during vacation periods. This role is flexible and can be adapted to fit personal, academic, and professional commitments. The position is temporary, with a minimum duration of 12 months and a maximum of 24 months. You must be an enrolled student at a university in Germany.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Bring
Ongoing bachelor’s or master’s studies with high academic performance – preferably in computer science, software engineering, statistics, business economics, or a related field.Interest and proficiency in using analytical tools such as Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, R, etc.Strong Excel skills and a good understanding of PowerPoint.Interest to work with GenAI models (e.g., ChatGPT, etc.) and other AI tools effectively.Familiarity with digital collaboration tools like Trello, Slack, or similar.Knowledge of SQL, Macros, VBA programming is an advantage, though not required.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong interpersonal skills, credibility, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset.Who You'll Work With
The Knowledge Team works in close collaboration with the consulting teams and other groups within our firm to help acquire, retrieve, organize, and analyze the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
