What you'll do


The delivery of a large software product as SAP HANA requires a complex set of steps to fulfill various requirements. It is desirable to automate these steps as far as possible with the ultimate goal of a one-click release to customer. Therefore, the delivery team has created various tooling using tooling like python and Jenkins to automate these steps. We have various tasks and ideas how to further automate processes and how to improve the quality of the current automatization. This is also a very good opportunity for a student to collect hands-on experience with the build and deliver process of a very large software project.

What you bring

 

Expected qualification:

 

Student of computer science or related fields at a higher education institution. Experience with programming demonstrated by existing projects. Experience with Python and SQL is required. Experience with Jenkins is a plus. Comfortable with English for daily communication (B level). German (B level) is a plus.

Meet your team


The SAP HANA Delivery team is responsible to deliver HANA onprem and HANA Cloud to customers in quality and time.
We plan releases, align quality, and transform the content of the SAP HANA source code repository into a release. After delivery, we manage the released versions which includes many active tasks in HANA Cloud version management.
Delivery collaborates with a wide range of teams such as SAP HANA program- and product management, development, technical support as well as a vast number of internal stakeholders that build their applications on top of the SAP HANA Platform.

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
