Our mission is to bring intelligence to the world of content management and empower our customers to completely transform workflows across their organizations. With the combination of AI and enterprise content, the opportunity has never been greater to transform how the world works together and at Box you will be on the front lines of this massive shift.

Founded in 2005, Box is headquartered in Redwood City, CA, and we have offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

WHAT BOX NEEDS YOU?

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual with exceptional interpersonal skills to join our Workplace Services team at Box's headquarters in Redwood City. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Workplace Services Manager and team, who oversee the coordination, maintenance, and daily operations of our office spaces.

As part of the Community and Impact Team, we are dedicated to fostering the unique Box culture. If you enjoy connecting with others, making things happen, and meeting interesting new people, we’d love to hear from you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, managing employee inquiries related to workplace services (working in office Monday - Friday). Greet and check in Boxers, vendors, and customers warmly, enhancing their experience with beverages in the waiting area. Welcome new hires, conduct office tours, and familiarize them with workplace amenities and key areas. Deliver exceptional customer service to create positive experiences for Boxers, guests, and candidates. Support the Executive Innovation Center team to ensure a seamless experience for high-level customers and executives. Assist with daily vendor operations, event planning, coordination, and execution to foster a fun environment. Maintain organized and presentable office spaces while collaborating with security and facilities teams on various tasks. May be asked to provide on-site support at our San Francisco office as needed.

WHO YOU ARE

Bachelor's degree in facility management, business administration or relevant field. Minimum 1+ year of experience, ideally with a combination of office/facilities management, administrative work, and event planning. A willingness to be self-directed, with a knack for problem solving and finding inefficiencies - anticipate potential problems, and drive toward solutions. A "roll up your sleeves" and get things done attitude - no task too big or too small!  A proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines and projects; must be highly organized.

Box lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture. Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Your Recruiter will share more about how we work and company culture during the hiring process.

Head-over-heels about this role — but not sure you meet all the requirements? Apply anyway! Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Box, we take a big-picture approach to hiring that fosters authenticity, diversity, and inclusion. If you're passionate about this opportunity, chances are, you shine pretty bright.
