The role
As a Workshop Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is an exciting opportunity to support Babcock and the London Fire Brigade (LFB) in keeping us safe. 

 

Day-to-day, you’ll supporting the LFB delivery team across various channels to ensure output is efficient and innovative.

 

Creation and submission of accident damage reports detailing estimates of cost of labour and parts, including third party Support to the supervisory team in authorising technician lines to be able to carry out work as well as adjusting work completion times Assigning vehicle maintenance work to the Workshop Technicians when Supervisor or Chargehand is unavailable Capturing of evidence linked to passthrough ensuring appropriate photos are taken, write ups are in line with contractual requirements Liaise with technicians to advise tolerated or deferred damage work


This role is full time, 40 hours per week Monday – Friday hours per week and is based on site at Ruilsip.

 
Essential experience of the Workshop Administrator:

Experience in motor vehicle workshops Professional, customer orientated and flexible approach Good verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of Tranman or similar fleet reporting systems Competent with MS Office applications

 

Qualifications for the Workshop Administrator:

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
