Workshop Quality Controller
Purpose of the role:  The role of the Workshop Quality Controller is critical in maintaining the reputation of the dealership and ensuring customer satisfaction through rigorous quality assurance measures. By overseeing and improving the quality of vehicle repairs and services, this position contributes to operational excellence and reinforces trust with customers in the dealership's service offerings.

Criteria:
Matric or equivalent qualification Previous experience in a similar role with a good understanding of the automative industry Technical proficiency in automotive systems Business acumen Quality inspection and quality processes skills Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proficiency in the English language Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Computer literacy Leadership skills Customer service orientation Must be in possession of a valid drivers’ licence Duties will include, but not be limited to:
Quality inspections to ensure workmanship meets standards Develop and implement quality assurance processes and checklists to standardise inspection procedures Verify that all repairs are performed according to repair orders and technical specifications Diagnostic verification Performance testing Maintain detailed records of inspection findings, including deficiencies identified and corrective actions taken Prepare quality control reports Customer service and communication Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to vehicle repairs and quality standards Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and practices among workshop staff Work closely with other departments to coordinate efforts and maintain a cohesive approach to delivering high-quality service.
