Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a seasoned Sales Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the workshop services industry, specifically in the repair, rewinding, overhauling, and maintenance of large motors and generators. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background combined with excellent sales and customer relationship skills.You will be part of Motion Business for Service division, based at Peenya- Bangalore, India.Work model: on site #LI-onsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tSales and Business Development: o\tDevelop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets for MG workshop services, including repair, rewinding, and overhauling of large motors and generators.o\tIdentify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base by expanding the Authorized value provider network. o\tPrepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management•\tCustomer Relationship Management: o\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.o\tHandle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.o\tConduct regular customer visits and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and retention.•\tTechnical Consultation: Provide technical expertise and consultation to clients, helping them understand the benefits and processes of the workshop services offered.•\tProposal Preparation: Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations to clients, ensuring they meet their specific requirements and budget constraints.•\tMarket Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.•\tCollaboration: Work closely with the engineering and workshop teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.•\tReporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status, providing regular reports to management.

Qualifications for the role

\tEducation: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.\tExperience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the workshop services industry, with a focus on sales and business development.\tStrong technical knowledge of large motors and generators including their maintenance and repair. \tProven track record in sales and customer relationship management.\tExcellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.\tAbility to understand and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients with proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.Preferred Qualifications:\tExperience in the repair, rewinding, and overhauling of a variety of motor and generator brands and models.\tCertification in sales or a related field.\tFamiliarity with industry standards and best practices.
