Workshop Technician , In this entry-level role, you will have the opportunity to provide hands-on technical support for the production and repair of equipment and tools in a shop environment. Your responsibilities will include receiving field tools, disassembling, cleaning, pressure testing, visual checking, painting, assembling, loading, and storing tools, while ensuring adherence to all necessary documentation requirements.
Responsibilities
Receive, disassemble, clean, pressure test, visually check, paint, assemble, load, and store tools and equipment. Ensure adherence to all necessary documentation requirements. Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, toolbox sessions, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and promptly report any issues using appropriate tools. Follow maintenance processes and procedures to undertake tasks such as unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, visual checking, painting, assembly, loading, and storage of tools. Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in a presentable and safe working condition. Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, hoists, cranes, drills, wrenches, or precision measuring instruments. Inspect used parts to determine dimensional requirements using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments. Utilize all tools and lifting equipment for opening and closing crates, containers, and use pallet and forklift trucks for safe movement of equipment (certification required for lifting equipment, forklift trucks, and cranes).Skills :
