We are hiring an intern to join the Workstation Architecture team. This is a hybrid role based in Morrisville, NC. Onsite presence will be required three days per week.

As a Workstation Hardware Architecture Intern, you will collaborate with the Architecture team to assist in the development and testing of software tools, maintain and enhance a cost database, and provide essential support for various lab-related tasks. This internship will give you exposure to both hardware and software aspects of workstation architecture while helping you refine your skills in tool development, testing, and real-world problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and optimization of software tools used by the Architecture team. Perform testing of software tools, identifying issues, and ensuring they meet performance and quality standards. Contribute to the maintenance and updating of a cost database, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Support the team with various lab-oriented tasks, including setting up experiments and analyzing results. Work closely with engineers to gather data and provide insights that will assist in architectural decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of tools and data with ongoing projects.

Basic Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Solid understanding of computer hardware and software principles. Experience with programming (e.g., Python, C++, or similar languages). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to project goals. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with software development tools, version control, and testing frameworks. Experience with database management or related software tools. Hands-on experience with hardware and lab-based environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
