We welcome candidates who can contribute to the excellence of our academic community. **Description** Emory University WOCNEC is part of Emory Nursing Experience within the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing (NHWSN) and has been accredited by the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses SocietyTM (WOCN® Society) since 1976. The program is an online, asynchronous, continuing education program that prepares nurses to provide specialty care for patients with acute and chronic wounds, fistulas, percutaneous tubes, fecal and urinary diversions, and fecal and urinary incontinence. **JOB DESCRIPTION:** Emory WOCNEC clinical instructors work collaboratively to plan, develop, implement, and monitor program activities to provide an exceptional student experience and to assure consistent compliance with accreditation requirements. + Support the teaching mission of the Emory University NHWSN, WOCNEC, and WOCN® Society. + Collaborate with the WOCNEC Team to design, implement, and evaluate educational offerings to assure current, evidence-based curriculum and positive learner outcomes. + Establish and foster a learning environment to enhance the learning experience and promote the development of critical thinking skills. + Identify and support individual student learning needs. + Provide education, support, and student evaluation during Bridge Week sessions in Decatur, GA. + Provide support for clinical precepting experiences and oversight of the documentation required. + Serve as Faculty Advisor for assigned groups of students and guide their program progression. + Grade student papers in a timely manner and provide constructive feedback. + Maintain confidential records of student performance and progression. + Maintain current licenses and certifications as applicable. + Maintain clinical competence through active clinical practice, WOC nursing conferences, participation in professional activities such as research and writing for publication, and/or monitoring professional literature. + Other duties as assigned. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** + RN with a minimum of master's degree in nursing. + Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB®) full scope certification. + WOCNCB® Foot and Nail certification preferred. + At least 3 years of full-time specialty practice after (WOCNCB®) certification. + Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural competencies to interact with a wide range of individuals. + Knowledge of education methodologies and principles of adult learning. + Outstanding communication and presentation skills, verbally and in writing. + Strong technology skills. + Experience in online learning management systems preferred. + Knowledge of curriculum design, test construction, and program evaluation preferred. **Additional Details** Emory is an equal opportunity employer, and qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by state or federal law.
