Your Opportunity as a Wrapper Tech
As a part of the Production Team, you are responsible for setting up wrapping machines for proper variety of product being produced, ensuring the proper code is being run and is in correct location and is legible, completing code verification, seal integrity, packaging verification and lot tracking sheets at specified times and notifying supervision when any check is not in compliance with company standards.
Location: Arkadelphia, AR Manufacturing Plant
Work Arrangements: 100% on-site, 3rd Shift
In this role you will:
Trouble shoots and addresses electrical and mechanical issuesPerforms preventive maintenanceAssist with re-wraps and break operators as necessaryCommunicates all changes at the time they are made and at shift changeCompletes daily log sheets and distributes to supervision at the end of the shiftEnsure that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards of food quality, safe processes, compliance with all appropriate legal requirements and a focus on continuous process improvementMaintain current and complete records of all activities (i.e., PM’s, safety, inventory, asset inventory, parts tags, etc.)Keeps work area and machines clean alwaysUnderstands Hostess scheduling for efficiency, ingredient and product flow, and distribution.Perform other duties as assignedTools and Equipment. All tools and equipment which are required to be used by the employees shall be supplied and kept in repair by the Employer at no cost to the employee. These items must be kept on the premises.

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.Understanding of commercial bakeries and bakery equipment preferred Previous experience working on and troubleshooting high speed packaging equipment strongly preferred. Experience in food manufacturing preferredAbility to trouble shooting equipment to ensure optimum efficiency and product quality Oral and Written Communication - Effective Personal Computer Skills - Literate with MS Excel, Word.Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be loud.
