The Encore Beach Club Lifeguard is responsible for providing professional and courteous customer service to each and every guest, while also maintaining the aquatic safety of all guests. Service should be consistent with Forbes 5 Star Standard rating. All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Wynn company standards. 

Job Duties:

 

Consistently delivering exceptional service to every guestEnsure safety is a priority in accordance to Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid CertificationsAdhere to and enforce company specific safety policiesMaintain a safe and clean environment in and around all swimming areasMaintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with Clark County Health standardsResponsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all timesResponsible for the daily set up of the pool deck before the venue opensResponsible for the daily breakdown of the pools and pool deck as the venue closesFollow all designated emergency proceduresAlways provide visual surveillance of the pools and surrounding areasAssist guests with requests, offering appropriate alternatives and seeking assistance when necessaryAttend required trainingsAssist other departments as necessary

QualificationsMinimum of 18 years of agePrevious lifeguard experience preferred, but not requiredMust be able to communicate in English with guests and other team membersMust be able to work efficiently within a team environmentMust have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sunMust adhere to both company and department specific policies and proceduresEmbrace company culture and take pride in the resort and amenitiesConsistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, posture and hygiene deemed by managementPossession of /or ability to possess a valid certification from the American Red Cross in CPRPossession of /or ability to possess a valid Lifeguard training and First Aid CertificationPossession of /or ability to possess a valid Nevada Health Card
