Position Details:
Location: Tampa, FLStatus: Full Time (non-exempt)Twelve (12) hour shift 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday (or until the last patient leaves) with two days on, then two days off rotation.This will include every other weekend (Weekend Differential may apply)

The Basic Machine Operator is responsible for the following:
Assists providers with patient examination, procedures, treatment, and x-ray/imaging services.Responsible for patient histories, routine lab procedures and preparation of specimens for transport to the lab.Follows up on test orders and reports results to provider and patient, provides and maintains patient education materials, maintains medical equipment, and orders clinical supplies.Creates and maintains patient electronic medical record (EMR).Complies with all applicable regulatory agency regulations.Supports both front and back-office duties.Performs other duties as assigned.Position may require travel to other sites depending on patient volume and clinic needs.Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends.Required Certification or Licensure includes BLS Certificate and Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO).
Required Certification and Licensure:
BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire andFlorida Basic Machine Operator (BMO)
Education:
Required High School or Equivalent; Preferred Technical Medical Assistant
Experience:
Preferred 2 years Medical Assistant
