As a safetynet hospital, MetroHealth plays an essential role in the region, caring for anyone and everyone, regardless of an ability to pay.** **Obtains diagnostic XRAYs using radiation-generating equipment to aid physicians and providers in the diagnosis of diseases in infants through adults.** + **Brand new Siemens Flouro remote and direct units** + **Siemens diagnostic DR x-ray equipment** + **Portable Konica digital unit** + **Shimadzu x-ray with stitching capabilities** **Qualifications:** **Required:** **· Graduate of am accredited Radiologic Technology Program** **· Has and maintains status as a Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)** **· Valid Ohio Radiographer License.** **· BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.** **Physical Requirements:** **· May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.** **· May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.** **· May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction.** **· Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.**
