X-Ray Technician ID 2022-12923 Job Locations US-PA-Philadelphia Category Healthcare Support Position Type Regular Part-time Location ID 90704 Experience & Requirements Must be a graduate of an accredited training program and registered in the state as required.Two years radiological technology experience preferred.Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.Required to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects including the human body. Required to kneel, stoop, crouch and/or crawl occasionally. Frequent walking throughout site; to include walking up and down flights of stairs.Must have and maintain sufficient strength, agility, and endurance to perform during stressful (physical, mental and emotional) situations encountered on the job. Occasional running when responding to emergencies; must be able to perform BLS.

A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.

Responsibilities

Below is a list of your responsibilities as a X-Ray Technician with YesCare:

Maintains a working knowledge of radiation and electrical hazards to prevent exposure of inmates and staff.Schedules inmates for on-site and off-site radiological services.Responds to emergencies and critical incidents within the institution.Maintains accurate system for identifying, filing and recording films for proper diagnosis.Prepares and maintains chemicals for developing process.Checks and maintains equipment in clean, proper, safe working order.Positions patients properly for exposure/development of film for proper diagnosis.
