X-Ray Technician - Thousand Oaks Rapidly growing, privately held orthopedic clinic in Thousand Oaks is looking for an X-Ray Technician to join their team! ENTRY-LEVEL CANDIDATES WHO HAVE JUST COMPLETED THEIR EXTERNSHIP ARE WELCOME TO APPLY! Requirements + X-Ray license + Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:45am-5:15pm and one Saturday/month + BLS Certification Job Description + Interpreting the order for the test to determine what body parts need imaging. + Explaining the test to patients and positioning them to make the test possible. + Setting the controls on X-ray equipment in preparation for imaging. + Checking X-ray images and retaking them as needed to ensure clarity. + Cleaning and performing routine maintenance tasks to keep X-ray equipment operating smoothly. + Sending X-ray images to other medical providers for reading. + Inventorying and stocking films and radiologic supplies. + Updating patient records with pertinent information.
