X-ray Technician
Job Title: X-Ray Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technician responsible for performing diagnostic medical x-rays, along with laboratory-testing procedures in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry. This role requires the ability to perform phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. The ideal candidate will adhere to proper x-ray techniques as outlined in our manual and will be part of a great team culture with opportunities for cross-training in lab roles. Responsibilities + Perform diagnostic medical x-rays. + Adhere to proper x-ray techniques as outlined in the manual. + Conduct laboratory-testing procedures in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry. + Perform phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. Essential Skills + Proficiency in performing diagnostic medical x-rays. + Experience with laboratory-testing procedures. + Phlebotomy skills including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. + Associate's degree in a related field. + Graduation from a Radiology program (RT or BMO). + CPR certification. + 1 year of experience with x-ray in a healthcare setting. + Florida Department of Health License (RT or BMO), Florida Department of Health Certified Radiologic Technologist License, or Florida Department of Health Basic Machine Operators License for X-Ray. Work Environment This position is 100% onsite in the lab. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:45 am to 4:45 pm with a full day off during the week, and Sundays from 8:45 am to 2:00 pm. Saturdays are off. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $51979.20 - $62275.20 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
