Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will explain procedures and processes to patients, maintain a safe, healthy, and professional work environment, and ensure proper identification and quality control of images. Additionally, the candidate will maintain required documentation pertaining to x-ray imaging and perform medical assistant duties such as taking vital signs, health history, and managing electronic medical records (EMR).

ResponsibilitiesExplain procedures and processes to patientsMaintain a safe, healthy, and professional work environmentEnsure proper identification and quality control of x-ray imagesMaintain required documentation pertaining to x-ray imagingPerform medical assistant duties including taking vital signs, health history, and managing EMRProvide excellent customer service and patient careAssist in both front and back office tasks as neededEssential SkillsHigh School diploma or GED equivalentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite platformsExperience in radiology and digital image processingKnowledge of medical diagnosis and radiation safetyExperience with imaging and x-ray proceduresExperience with EMR systems, particularly EpicMedical assisting experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsAdvanced MD experienceFront and back office experienceCustomer service experience, preferably in a medical settingAbility to manage upset patients effectivelyAbility to lift a minimum of 25 lbs., push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs., and stand for a minimum of 6 hours a dayPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.79 - $44.00
