Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for updating patient information in the Athena EMR system, providing excellent bedside care, and ensuring compliance with safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations. This role offers opportunities for further training in other modalities to advance your career.

ResponsibilitiesUpdate patient information in the Athena EMR system.Provide good bedside care to patients and explain procedures to them.Clarify and follow Doctor’s orders and scan necessary information into PACS.Maintain room cleanliness after exams and procedures.Obtain patient information and chart notes for fluoroscopy procedures.Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.Perform daily, monthly, semi-annual, and annual Quality Control tasks.Essential SkillsARRT certificationBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationGood bedside mannerAbility to handle high volume dailyMedical assisting skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Athena or other EMR systems is a plusWork Environment

You will be working in an orthopedics office alongside three other technologists in the Urgent Care Center. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The team is known for its collaborative spirit, with many members advancing into leadership roles over their tenure. The office is owned by Village MD and another organization, and is known for having a supportive and cohesive team of doctors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $41.00/hr.
