Job Title: XRAY TechnologistJob Description

As an XRAY Technologist, you will enter data into the MARS system for medical records, billing, statistics, and quality assurance purposes. You will also maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition, ensuring that the exam room contains the proper supplies. Additionally, you will perform a variety of related clerical tasks, including answering phones, relaying messages, and scheduling exams. You will report any equipment malfunctions to supervisory personnel and confidently operate radiological equipment in all care settings, including GE, Phillips, Samsung Portables, and Siemens. You will demonstrate the ability and skills to assist in teaching radiography students sound radiography principles and administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies and procedures to ensure patient safety.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 3:30pm. The position offers opportunities for growth and patient fulfillment, helping those in the DC/Metro area. Additionally, there are multiple departments to lead and grow in. The organization is recognized regionally and nationally for excellence in medical care and is the largest healthcare provider in the metro area. Parking expenses can be covered.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $65.00
