Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited radiation sciences or radiology technology program (required)ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification (required)Previous experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred). We will accept newly registered graduates.BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required). Must be completed prior to the end of the orientation period.About the Job:
Obtain Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality, while adhering to departmental standards and protocolsMaintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology departmentCollaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomesPrepares examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needsOperates x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfortFollows relevant safety and sanitation guidelinesDocuments patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and proceduresDemonstrates technical expertise, knowledge of anatomy, safety consciousness, manual dexterity, clerical accuracy, and verbal ability.May be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off-site diagnostic locations.We know it’s not just about finding a job.
