Your success is what's next with Custom Truck One Source. **We have a great opportunity for a Yard Attendant in our Bluffton, IN location!** **Summary** Primary responsibility is to operate a forklift, load & receive product, support production & aid the parts department. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Quickly and safely evaluate and identify the needed materials, tooling, and steps necessary to finish the needed task. + Inspect parts, equipment or vehicles for cleanliness, damage and compliance with standards. + Detail and clean trucks to prepare them for shipping/delivery. + Load and unload equipment and vehicles plus check for any damage. + Responsible for the maintenance of the building, yard, and equipment. + Monitor inventory in yard and oversee incoming/outgoing vehicles. + Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment. **Required Skills and Qualifications** + High school diploma or the equivalent + Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving records, a plus. + Knowledge of utility and/or vocation vehicles and familiarity with operating systems including but not limited to, booms, buckets, diggers, cable reels, hi-rail, Dump Trucks, Roll Offs and track vehicles. + Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines and schedules. + Must be self-sufficient and driven. **Working Conditions** + Attendance – The ability to work as scheduled with punctual attendance 7:00 am- 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday plus any additional hours/days necessary to meet business demands. + The majority of work is performed in a shop and outside. + May be exposed to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes. **Physical Requirements** + The ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs. + Frequent lifting (10-75 lbs.), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms of heights above 42", significant stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling throughout an 8–10-hour day, and up to 50 hours per week. + Ability to see things in close proximity and distance whether through natural or corrected vision. + Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours per day. **BENEFITS** + 401(k) with Employer Match + Competitive Health Car + Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance + Paid Vacation, Sick and Holidays + STD/ LTD + Partner Discounts + Investment in Employee Development + Tuition Reimbursement _Custom Truck One Source is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws._
