**Waste Connections** is looking to hire a **Yard Helper/General Laborer** at our hauling site in **Rayne, LA** . The duties of this position includes but is not limited to washing trucks, cutting grass, sweeping, mopping. Daily work will involve heavy industrial lifting, lifting waist high, gripping with hands, moving at a brisk consistent pace, and occasional bending. This position is very physical and works outside in all weather conditions. + Starting pay is $17/hr. + The schedule is an early morning start time, working 5 days a week, working 10-12 hours a day. + We offer family benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, vacation and year round OT. **Job Requirements:** + Ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly throughout a 10+ hour shift. + Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. + Strong customer service skills. _Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
