What we are looking for:
Aldridge is seeking a Yard Personnel to join our dynamic and energetic team. This role is responsible for performing operational duties related to receiving, storing, and delivering material. Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining equipment, loading, unloading, and hauling heavy equipment.
What you’ll do:
+ Maintain safe job site.
+ Loads, unloads, and transports heavy trucks, equipment, and material.
+ Material shipping and receiving procedures.
+ Maintain equipment and report equipment abuse or component tampering.
+ Follows driver/yard procedures and responsibilities.
+ Performs cleanup at end of day or when job is completed, including cleaning tools, putting tools in proper storage areas, and sweeping floors.
+ Advise supervisor immediately if additional work is needed.
+ Interact effectively, courteously, and professionally with customers, vendors, and other employees.
+ Be involved in the daily operation of the warehouse and be able to fill in during the absence of the supervisor.
Who you are:
+ Valid Commercial Driver’s License: Class A with endorsements as needed. ·
+ Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies and the ability to effectively communicate solutions
+ Strong work ethic
+ The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
