Our client, a well-known logistics company, is seeking a Yard Truck Operator to join their team. In this role, you will operate yard trucks to move trailers, requiring a solid understanding of truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers and various commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.Assist in loading and unloading materials from refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks as needed.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard to promote a safe working environment.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups.Utilize manual transmission skills when operating different types of trucks.

Qualifications:

Experience operating a yard truck or similar equipment.Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Good communication skills and teamwork ability.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Monday - Friday3:00 PM to 11:30 PM$21.00
