Job DescriptionEssential Job Functions
Must be able to successfully back trucks in and out without incident. Successfully maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. Inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions. 35+ trailer movements per dayQUALITY

Know and understand the cGMP and other regulatory compliance Ensure job specific safety procedures are established and followed Maintain awareness and enforcement of health and safety practices and activities Be involved in the development, implementation, and updating of health and safety plans and procedures Actively participate in health and safety training programs and demonstrate competency based on training received Make safety a priority in daily operations by: Actively participating in health and safety activities, Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, Ensuring adequate resources are provided, and Providing suggestions for improvement to the health and safety programQualifications
Minimum
Class A driver’s license 1-year previous driving experience with Class A driver’s license CDLPreferred
2 years previous driving experience with Class A driver’s licenseSkills and Abilities
Class A driver’s license required. Ability to operate all Dock and Warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Must foster and display a positive attitude towards teamwork and professionalism. Demonstrate proficiency in RF and computer software programs. Display excellent communication skills. Additional InformationWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; must be able to lift 25-50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
