ProLogistix is now hiring for several Yard Jockey Drivers in Garden City, GA!  These are full-time, career opportunities with growth and advancement potential.  1st and 2nd shifts available for immediate hire!

As a Yard Jockey Driver, you will be responsible for assuring safe and efficient traffic flow within the yard.  The Yard Jockey Driver will also provide proper dock set up by maintaining the transporting containers and trailers, as instructed by the Operations team, in a professional manner. 

Pay:  $21.50/hr (with possible overtime) *Weekly pay!*

Shifts for Yard Jockey Drivers:

1st Shift:  M-F, 6:00am-3:30pm 2nd Shift:  M-F, 3:00pm-12:30am

Job Description as a Yard Jockey Driver for ProLogistix:

Maintains a daily movement log and PM inspections sheets Places a trailer stand under all 20 foot equipment to be worked at the dock Ensure that yard and related yard equipment is clean, orderly and in safe operating condition Inspects all empty equipment for cleanliness and for any damage; reporting any damages to supervisor Ensures that all loads are properly secured Maintains safety rules at all times Ensures all equipment doors are properly secured to the side of the equipment prior to movement Assists in monitoring FIFO (First in, First out) equipment in yard and report discrepancies to immediate supervisor Assists 3rd party carriers reposition equipment as necessary Follows all company policies and procedures

Position Requirements as a Yard Jockey Driver for ProLogistix:

Minimum 1 years jockey or shuttle driving experience Must be able to successfully pass a yard truck operator evaluation and an online safety test (during the interview with our client, you will be required to drive a truck and must pass a yard truck operator evaluation-will be an automatic transmission) Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one No moving violations in past 12 months No more than 3 moving violation in past 48 months No more than 1 State recordable DOT Preventable Accident in the past 36 months No DUI or DWI in the past 10 years Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to perform well with time-sensitive tasks; multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements as a Yard Jockey Driver for ProLogistix:

Ability to lift material weighing 40 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 75 pounds
