**Job Title: Yard Laborer $18-19/hr (Weekly Pay)** **Job Description** As a Yard Laborer, you will be responsible for checking in vehicles and conducting thorough inspections. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with a one-hour lunch break. The job involves working outdoors in all weather conditions. **Responsibilities** + Visually inspect totaled vehicles sent by insurance companies. + Conduct an inventory of the vehicle, noting the condition of glass, body panels, and basic interior components. + Attempt to start vehicles and use a battery pack to jump-start if necessary. + Enter information using a handheld device similar to a tablet. + Work independently with little to no supervision, with support available via handheld radio. **Essential Skills** + Experience using a smartphone or tablet. + Basic computer skills. + Knowledge of car parts and components such as fender, bumper, hood, trunk, etc. + Ability to work independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No formal training required. + High School Diploma or GED. + Quick learner with the ability to pick up tasks swiftly. **Why Work Here?** We offer a casual work environment with opportunities for independent work. The work environment is casual, with no large logos or offensive prints allowed. The building is located in an industrial park, with fences around the site and an open office space with workstations. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
